Every year my kids can not wait for our annual family vacation Vegas. This year will be our 7th year. Many people disagree Las Vegas is a good place for families with children, but we love it. My husband and I are gamblers or drinkers, and I really enjoy spending our free time with our two children.
Las Vegas has much to offer the side of gambling and nightlife. Each year there are more things to see and experience.
Usually, visit Las Vegas September right around the weekend after Labor Day. The weather is great and can not wait to lounge by the pool sipping drinks cold. Always choose a hotel with the best pool that is familiar and we will not get dirty looks for bringing our kids down. The top 3 teams in our family are the MGM Grand, Monte Carlo and the Mirage.
# 1 The MGM Grand
The MGM Grand has an incredible pool complex. In my opinion, one of the best in Las Vegas. One feels as you entered an exotic paradise with plenty of lush vegetation, beautiful flowers, fountains and small island connected by bridges. This massive over 6 acres of property has 5 pools, 3 hot tubs and lazy river. The lazy river was a hit with my family. Floating under bridges, through waterfalls and ends in a small pond with waterfall pool which is perfect for babies and toddlers.
I must admit this paradise has some drawbacks. One drawback is that you need to rent a tube or a raft to truly experience the lazy river. I think the rent is $ 15 per meter per day. The MGM Grand is known to run special promotions where you can get cheaper rent, free or 2 for 1. Before booking your room you should come to our sites with coupons for MGM (just go to Google and type coupons MGM in Las Vegas in search – Vegas early is good). The second drawback is that the pool complex is far guest elevators. You have to walk along the promenade with shops and restaurants to get to the pool, but the ride is well worth it.
# 2 The Monte Carlo
The group of Monte Carlo is much smaller compared with the pool complex at the Grand, but enjoy it regardless. They are children friendly and that's what matters.
The Monte Carlo has 3 pools, jacuzzi and children pool. If you are visiting Las Vegas with young children will love the kiddie pool with beach chairs closed-size children. The wave pool with waves of 3 feet was designed to simulate the ocean and is an explosion of the whole family. If you want to take a bath and then try the lagoon pool. It is a pleasant and relaxing pool plaza with a waterfall. My favorite was the 400 feet of river relaxing Easy Ride. There are also tube rental, but you can buy a tube into his tent on the beach at around $ 12.00 and the rental shop blow even for you. This is a real money saver for large families or longer stays like us. After you do with it, why not pass the tube into a new family.
# 3 The Mirage
The pool at the Mirage is a series of pools connected by bridges and lagoons with waterfalls in tropical environment. They used to have a slide water, but a great disappointment to my children, they closed it down. Offering car raft floating around, but never needed. You may request complimentary lifejackets for children. The pool is located near the elevators results only by a small promenade with shops, a small restaurant and coffee shop ice cream. If you decide to order a drink take my advice and order of small size. Please specify that you take a drink with enormous price tag even higher.
Just a tip: Most pools in Las Vegas say they are not allowed to save seats in the pool, but everyone does. If not you will not get a good spot, because hundreds of people before you ignore the rule. Live and learn.
Enjoy Las Vegas with children.
