What has changed in this recipe so it is what the spaghetti for only eight people? 1 tbsp. of white vinegar 1 tsp. One pound of salt. 3 tablespoons of spaghetti. ¼ cup butter or margarine, grated Parmesan cheese 14 cup grated cheese ¼ cup mozzarella cheese Gruyere cheese grated ¼ teaspoon Switzerland. celery seed dash pepper paprika Bring 1 gallon of water, vinegar and salt to boil in a large pot full. Add pasta and stir occasionally. Follow the package directions. When done, drain, reserving ¼ cup liquid. Rinse pasta with cold water and set aside. Melt butter in the same pot. Combine the cheese and the reserved liquid. Add pasta and seasonings, mix well. Cook about 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
Double the recipe. DO NOT place the pasta. Very little in cooking the pasta so it will absorb the flavors to add to the mixture of cheese and pasta water. You may want to book a little over the top quarter of the recipe calls for just in case you need to add slightly more liquid. Serve a salad and good bread the side and I would say that sounds like a pretty good dinner.
