Help buying a laptop?

I have to buy a new laptop. I want something around 5 pounds, with 4 GB of memory (expandable preference). I need a good battery life, 6 hours or so, and I need a 2 year warranty with a good reliability history. Also integrated in the optical drive, a few USB ports, and a high quality display. HDD should be from 320 to 500 GB and 7200 RPM definitely an advantage. Of costs, but with much like pay a few dollars more for something that works well for some time. It will be used for email, websurfing, travel, and much of the movie seeing. Having looked into the UL50VT ASUS and Acer 5810, but both seem to sacrifice quality for weight and the economy. Dell Studio series seems all right, although my last PC was a Dell and do not like. I had a good experience with a VAIO for some time, but they seem expensive for what you get. So I would welcome suggestions as well as by do you think the suggestions are good! Thanks!

Wow. You have very high standards. lol. Generally, no need to lean to the portability or performance but not always. = D recommendations Portability: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Inspiron+Laptop+with+Intel% 26% 23,174% 3B +% 26% Core 23,153% 3B + i3 + Processor + – + + Cherry Red / 9693191.p? id = 1218150178397 & skuId = 9693191 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Inspiron+Laptop+with+Intel% 26% 23,174% 3B +% 26% Core 23,153% 3B + i3 + Processor + – + + Cherry Red/9693191.p? id = 1218150178397 & skuId = 9693191 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+Pavilion+Laptop+with+Intel% 26% 23,174% 3B + Core% 23,153% 26% 3B + i3 + Processor + – + Black/9707468.p? id = 1218154720995 & skuId = 9707468 in my opinion, the third is the best. Performance / Performance and portability: If you really want something with what you want, then I suggest you buy from a company directly. I personally ordered my dv4t HP HP Direct and I guess he wanted. It was a little expensive, but I am loving this laptop. Its 14.1 inches so your laptop, theres a decent Core 2 Duo, up to 8 GB of RAM, a 12-cell battery is available if the battery life is a concern, and a good graphics card, unless they plan to make your game harder Ultra. You can buy to any business, but HP only offers up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM. In addition, Vaios often easily broken intelligent hardware and are often too expensive. Toshiba is great too, but I found that HP offers the best specifications and prices. For your needs, you will not end if you need anything, but if you plan to run games Dragon Age and as such, and also want or portability, I would suggest customizing your own laptop and make a direct order. Good luck.
