If a trip to visit the famous vineyards of Napa Valley, California is not in the budget this summer, try a scenic drive through some country the local wine. Central Texas offers a number of locally produced wines, the nationally recognized small family-owned.

A journey through Highway 290 West not only offers rustic landscapes of Texas with his kind of beauty, but also several vineyards on the road. Johnson City has the Vineyard Hills Texas, with soil considered the coveted field of Tuscany in Italy.
