Although commonly believed to cold work the same way as domestic refrigerators, these two types of refrigeration units actually work in very different ways. Refrigerators use the cold air generated in the freezer to keep them inside the cold refrigerator section. Walk-coolers generates cold air they need to keep the air temperature the thermostat is set, using fans and a capacitor that cycles on and off to maintain the temperature of the unit. Thus, the technology that operates a walk-in cooler is more similar to the way an air conditioner operates in a refrigerator.
The condensing unit and thermostat
Is the thermostat that controls temperature in a cooler. When the temperature inside the unit starts to increase above the thermostat is set at the condensing unit turns on and begins a new cooling cycle. Fans in the unit and then pull the air inside the refrigerator and over the condenser coils. The refrigerant that is inside the coil removes heat from the air passing over them. The cold air moves through the rear of the unit, and is a little cooler than when he was pulled in. This continues until the air temperature matches or is colder than the temperature at the thermostat. The refrigerant in the condenser coils is pumped continuously during the cooling cycle, which ensures that the coolant is not heated too long to cool down.
Another cycle that ensures that the capacitor does not freeze and become covered in ice and frost. If the temperature is too low (usually around 35 degrees Fahrenheit), fans start again, but without the cooling cycle through coils. This gradually heats the condenser coils and the temperature starts to rise. This cycle of thawing stops when the temperature inside the refrigerator is new within appropriate limits.
One important factor in effective hike cooler is its isolation. A standard walk in coolers are between 2 and 4 inches of Styrofoam insulation within its walls, along with a seal rubber around the door that helps ensure that it is well insulated and airtight. The seal styrofoam and maintain the temperature outside air influence in the refrigerator, and make sure the capacitor only has to cool the air inside the unit.
