Car Talk | The cold weather is not a substitute for the turbocharger to increase power Dear Tom and Ray: Was it just me, or my Jeep look really fast this morning in the cold, minus-15-degree air? I've always heard that the colder the air, the better the combustion. Is there any truth in my observation of this morning, or was I just drive faster so I could leave the car in cold faster?
